About the Event
Join horror historian Leyla Royale for this special virtual tour of strange but true ways Chicagoans have met their end. These tales focus on urban legends and commons fears – and how they're really played out in the city's past! The hour long talk will feature stories you won't hear on a ghost tour, all researched by Leyla from various Chicago newspaper archives and features tales from the mid 1850s through the 1950s.
The talk will be broadcast on Facebook Live via Effing Chicago and Dead in Chicago. Simply open up the page at the start of the lecture and scroll down to find the live broadcast.
Free, with suggested donations.
